Ruins of St. Paul's:

The church became the biggest Catholic Church in East Asia during the 16th century. Unfortunately, a violent typhoon hit Macau in 1835 and the church caught fire, leaving its glory a history. According to historians, St Paul's Church, built with white stones, had a grand vaulted roof. It had three magnificently decorated halls. One must visit this place to explore the ancient stories of Macau. Visitors can also find the bones and belongings of all the Popes after St Paul, that has been preserved here.

Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre:

Opened on 19th December, 2001, Macau Tower is 338 metres in peak. It is an elegant construction offering magnificent panoramic views of Macao and much of the Pearl River Delta from its observation deck located on level 57 where one can get a 360° view of Macau. It also has a revolving restaurant at the 223-metre above the sea level. In some floors the glasses are transparent, giving you enthralling views of the ground & lot of goose bumps. The adventure deck is on 61st floor where one can enjoy bungee jump, sky jump, sky walk or simply watch other daredevils take the plunge.

City of Dreams:

It offers a wide range of entertainment options, luxury accommodation, international dining and designer fashion brands. Located in the heart of Cotai, City of Dreams offers everything from the best hotels to the most exciting shows. Cotai is freely accessible from Macau’s ferry terminals, border gates and the airport. Largo do Senado (Senado Square):

 AJ Hackett Macau Tower:

It is home to the World's Highest Bungy which is 233m tall.Here you can walk on the wide side with Skywalk, drop off the edge with Skyjump, or take on the World's Highest Urban Tower Climb. Night Bungy every night is the major thrilling adventure here. A great place for chilling out while resting your tired feet and treating yourself to a nice view before moving on to other sites. This tour is only 1 hour away from Hong Kong by Ferry.

 Macao Museum:

This museum is worth a visit and is not expensive. It consists of three levels within a fortress, where the former Meteorological Service was housed. Macao Museum is a space dedicated to the history and culture of Macao that preserves a vast number of objects of historical and cultural value, which demonstrate the way of life of the various communities that have inhabited the city for centuries. The museum is not big, but the displays are thoughtfully laid out and provide an insightful history into Macau and its surrounding areas.

Guia Fortress:

The Guia fortress another symbol of Macau’s rich history was built in 1622. The Fortress is on the top of the highest point in Macau. One can climb there and have great panoramic views of the city. Inside the fortress stands Guia Chapel, originally established by Clarist nuns, who resided at this site. The chapel's elaborate frescoes depict the culture of both the west (mainly Portuguese) & Chinese. There is a Lighthouse, standing within the Fortresses’ perimeter from the 1865, which is the first modern lighthouse on the Chinese coast. This Light house is known as the Guia light house.


Coloane Village is the area to get a glance at Macau's real heritage, aside from the glitz and glamour built around or benefit to aid Macau's casino corporation. Here one gets to see extra of shops than lot else. An afternoon used roaming the streets of Coloane will allowance you with a feel of the achievement.The Coloane village has everything in the proximate and one can see China just across the sea from the beach side. The Lord's stow bakery, famous for its Portuguese egg tarts near the Coloane village bus stop is something to die for.

Mandarin's House:

The Mandarins' house was built in 19th century and is a more recent addition to the historical buildings in Macau. It is free to visit and gives an excellent insight into the building lay out, architecture & traditions of the wealthy Chinese. It was the home to a famous rich man of Macau and after his death the Macau government took control of the House and restored the place into its original condition. The House is located in the famous Historic Center of Macau.

Monte Forte (Fortaleza do Monte):

It is an ancient monte forte in Macau, one of the parts of China's oldest Western-style fort buildings built in the 16th century. Once you climb up the hill and reach this point, you will be welcomed with great picturesque landscapes & lot of fresh breeze. The Museum of Macau is located within this fort, featuring three floors that showcase both the influences of the Chinese and the Portuguese to Macau. It is a place where you can enjoy the sunset and view of the densely populated district of Macau and of course the Guia Lighthouse.

Hong Kong Skyline:

The Hong Kong Island skyline is one of the most spectacular cityscapes in the world. New York may boast more skyscrapers but Hong Kong's are more compact and dramatic when viewed from across the water in Kowloon, over Victoria Harbour. The skyline is truly beautiful, at night time it is absolutely breath-taking watching the skyline sparkle and dance before your eyes. If you like this Iconic skyline than view it from either side of the bay and take the Victoria peak tram to get a higher viewpoint of the whole Hong Kong & skyline.

Star Ferry Boats :

The star ferry boats of Hong Kong island have been devoted carriers of passengers from the island to kowloon and Vice versa since 1888. No matter the development in transport around the island the citizens still choose to use the ferry vessels each year. The reason being, that many visitors and tourists want to have a closer look at the famous harbour..which is also ranked one of the worlds most photographed places.Locals on the other hand find the ferry vessels more reliable and efficient, they have kept their preference for the ferry boats for over a century now. The Charming Star Ferry boats have been rated as one of the 50 places to visit in your lifetime by National geographic.

Victoria's Peak :

This spot is the one of the most famous places on Hong Kong island.
The spot has remained a crowd favourite since colonial times.Preceeding the air conditioning era, the rich and elite of the society would come here to enjoy the peak, as it has naturally cooler temperatures.It is the highest point on Hong kong island, you can now visit this heritage point on the classic tram that takes people up the mountains.Get an eagles eye view of the beautiful city from Victorias peak.

Tian Tan Buddha (Big Buddha):

The Po Lin Monastery is quite the sight to see on Hong Kong Island.
Hidden among lush mountains, the monastery became a famous attraction when the Tian Tan Buddha Statue was erected in 1993.The Tian Tan Buddha is informally known as the Big Buddha., he sits 34 metres high, facing the north, overlooking the citizens of Hong kong. His countenance draws pilgrims from all over asia.You can take a cable car to see the monastery or even climb the mountain using the stair way.

Hong Kong Trams:

Traverse the Northern part of Hong Kong Island on an East-West direction, they are cheap, clunky and slow, but gives you a very unique experience and an opportunity for sightseeing of the city. Hong Kong Trams come in handy for getting around the busy Hong Kong Island northern area. It is always a great ride on the top level of the tramp with the windows open. It is easy to catch them from many locations within the city. These tramps are an attraction within itself.

Nan Lian Garden:

The place is amazingly beautiful and tranquil. It is ideal for an early morning stroll. The place is full of beautiful gardens and with even more impressive buildings this is a must go destination in Hong Kong. The best of all is the moon viewing pavilion which is an exquisite tea house. It's a short walk (about 5mins) from Diamond Hill station, there is no entrance fee and you can tour the entire garden in about an hour. There is silence all around & the landscape is beautiful along the walking paths.

Lantau Island:

Lantau Island attractions are many and are varied. Access to the island is ever easier with the many ferries & cable cars. This is one of the most unspoilt places on the planet. It is absolutely a stunning place with very strict rules to preserve the Beauty of the place. A ferry across is fun and the views are unbelievable.

Chi Lin Nunnery:

This is a large Buddhist complex, dating from the 1930s,it was rebuilt completely with wood, not a single nail was used (Tang dynasty style 1998).It is a beautiful place surrounded by lotus ponds, boonsai tea plants and bougainvillea, and pious nuns prayerfully offering fruit and rice to Buddha, chanting and praying behind intricately carved screens.
This place is the perfect example of human harmony and peace with nature.

Hong Kong Museum of History:

The Hong Kong Museum of History posses 400 million years of history in a 700o square metre space.A list-topper for history enthusiasts, the museum has made enormous efforts in studying, collecting, processing and exhibiting countless objects which are related to the archaeology, history, ethnography and natural histories of Hong Kong and South China. Thematic exhibitions are also regularly held at different times. This is a great museum that has full of interesting exhibits and arte facts. Take a camera for the outstanding colourful exhibits. It is a little gem in Hong Kong

Day 1: ARRIVAL AT Hong Kong.
